The slamming of the lift doors which clearly need some maintenance attention.
We found the hotel satisfied our needs for short stay in S. London in almost every respect. A tube station is very near, and buses pass by frequently, hence the location is good, especially if you want to go to the West End or to South London, or even the suburbs/areas south of London. A selection of shops & supermarkets & pubs lies close by. The locked car park was useful.
The cost was too high to encourage us to return soon.
Comfortablebed convenient location.
Only used this time for a breif overnight stay. Staff very pleasant and helpful. No problems
I liked that it was an intimate small hotel.Staff were friendly and the breakfast, although simple was an added bonus. It is across the road from the subway and assessable to central London in 25 minutes.
I did not like the size of the televisions and a larger screen would have been wonderful.
It was just a base for us. There is a good bus and Tube service and a small park to wander around in the sunshine.
The hotel was fine, but when we got there, they had no details of the Booked.net reservation for us. The receptionist tried all sorts of different ways, but in the end decided that Booked.net had not "faxed the details", so no reservation was made in my name or their name. Luckioly, there was a room, and the receptionist offered us the room at the same price. So, the hotel was fine, but the booking by Booked.net did not reach them.
Close proximity to underground - just across the road.
It was conveniently near the tube station. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was all you would want. The staff were friendly and helpful and I felt safe.
I wished I had been able to get Radio 4 instead of always the hotel radio programmes!
Good location referring to the price. Easy to go in to London. Nice rooms.
Missed cheese to breakfast
The chap who was working serving the breakfast and doing the cleaning up was most efficent and helpful and friendly. In fact, we got the impression he was the only one working the breakfast shift!!! Need to do more with the hot food
The keys to the room were a bit hit and miss as regards opening the room, had to try many times
Stayed here while attending a course at St.George's hospital. Just across the road from Collier's tube station and 10 minute walk to the hospital.
A bit expensive for such a basic hotel. My room was right beside the lift which was noisy. Internet access very expensive 25pence/minute.
The hotel is extremely well situated near the Tube station which is very confortable to reach centre of London.
It is not a complaint but the breakfast is limited in terms of choices. There's no cheese or ham for example...nevertheless, it's a sufficient breakfast.
The pleasent and welcoming of all the staff. The hotel was within easy access of bus and rail services, which were excellent.
Virtually opposite Collier Wood underground station so wonderfully situated for a theatre trip to Central London
Convenient location as we were visiting family in Wimbledon and right opposite Underground for visiting central London. Room 122, narrow but has all the facilities found in pricer hotels and good shower room.
Receptionist was helpful but as English was not her first language it lead to difficulties in communication.
